Nintendo during the Nintendo Direct Mini announced the definitve edition of Hyrule Warriors for Nintendo Switch.
The game contains the entire story mode, all 29 characters and all Adventure Mode maps of both the Wii U and 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors.

The game can be played in 1080p in TV mode and two-player multiplayer with one pair of Joy-Con. As a bonus, the game contains costumes based on Link and Zelda as they appear in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will appear in the spring of 2018 for the switch.
