The “Advanced Edition” update for Into the Breach shows that Subset Games isn’t done with the game yet.
The patch adds new squads and weapons, new pilots and pilot skills, new enemies, bosses, and missions, a harder difficulty mode, seven new languages (Arabic, Thai, Swedish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Latin American Spanish), new music from Ben Prunty, and more. Subset says, “New content will be added to every part of the game.”
About Into the Breach Advanced Edition
Five new mech squads and almost forty new weapons have been added.
New Challenges: There are now more enemies, bosses, and mission goals, which make each run harder and more interesting.
New Skills for Pilots: The new roster has four more pilots and three times as many skills for each pilot that can be earned through promotions.
On July 19, 2022, the “Advanced Edition” update for Into the Breach will be available for Switch.
The game is now available on the Switch eShop for those who want to buy it. Fangame is also putting out a hard copy later this year.
