Islets is a beautiful metroidvania game where you play as Iko, a brave mouse who wants to explore a sky full of floating islands and communities that are cut off from each other after the land was broken up by a mysterious event many years ago.
Iko hopes to find a way to bring the world back together by flying his trusty but broken-down plane through the different landscapes. But on his journey, he will also learn the secrets of the evil that has been around since the beginning of time and tore his world apart in the first place.
Players will learn about the world of Islets by flying in Iko’s plane and walking around colorful island environments. But the adventure won’t be easy, because Iko’s bravery will be put to the test by unique and tough enemies around every corner.
In Islets, players will need to learn how to use a variety of unique special skills and have quick reflexes to stop the evil that is slowly taking over the world.
Islets was made by a single person, Kyle Thompson, who made the beautiful and well-liked metroidvania Sheepo. The game is hand-drawn and full of personality.
