We already knew that the Octo Expansion expansion for Splatoon 2 would be available this summer, however, if this was exact, Nintendo did not announce it. Now the Splatoon facebook page of our eastern neighbors seems to have revealed something.
An image appeared on the page with July 13, 2018 as the release date. And shortly after fans reacted to this, it was immediately taken offline again by Nintendo.
Human error?
So it is where the error lies, was it a wrong release date or has the date been leaked? It is not surprising, by the way, if the release will indeed take place on July 13, as the new Splatoon amiibo will come out (and that will often coincide with each other (or sometimes within a week difference).
