Developer Sting announced that Knights in the Nightmare Remaster will be heading to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in Japan.
Details are sparse but the company conffirmed that the game will release in 2021.
Coming west?
The title first originally debuted in 2008 on the Nintendo DS, with a PSP version launching later in 2010. Both of these previous versions saw a western release thanks to Atlus, but it is not clear if similar plans are in the works for this remaster.
About Knights In The Nightmare Remaster
Knights in the Nightmare is known for its uncommon fusion of shooting mechanics with a tactical JRPG. In its original Nintendo DS incarnation, players could use the stylus to maneuver a wisp –the player character– around the screen. The wisp could awaken units around the battlefield, which then activated to attack enemies.
Knights in the Nightmare Remaster is in development and will release in Japan on the Switch and mobile devices in 2021.
