About Knives Out
One game that’s not made the transition across to the Nintendo Switch device yet is the original battle royale game, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (commonly abbreviated as PUBG).
Chinese developer NetEase stepped in to release its own free-to-play battle royale title, Knives Out.
By the looks of things, the Nintendo Switch version is a fairly standard port of the iOS and Android originals, fit with microtransactions and some muddy visuals.
Regardless of the existence of other, more popular mobile battle royales, folks still seem to be playing and enjoying Knives Out. Perhaps it’s doing something neat and different?
As of November 3, 2019, the Nintendo Switch version of Knives Out is only available in Japan.
