Koei Tecmo; a lot of games in 2018

This year Koei Tecmo will support the Nintendo Switch well. That is what the president of the company, Hisashi Koinuma, tells in an interview with GameSpot.

Gamespot asked about the interest of Koei Tecmo in the Nintendo Switch after the continued success of the device.

To this Koinuma replied that they are ready to make titles available for the Nintendo Switch, whether it concerns their own franchises or those of other companies.

Koinuma about Nintendo Switch

In my opinion, the Nintendo Switch is so well received, because it fits so well with the modern lifestyle. Not only for Japan, but also for the United States and European countries. So we are more than ready to make titles available on the Nintendo Switch: be it our own IPs or those of another company. I feel that we have made it much faster for our titles to be available on the Nintendo Switch than the other publishers. If there are any playing needs or wishes for the Switch, then we will certainly work on this.

Koei Tecmo currently has A.O.T. 2 and Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings in the planning for the device. Last year, for example, they released Nights of Azure 2 and participated in Fire Emblem Warriors.

Please note; however, many of the company’s games are exclusively intended for the Japanese market.
