We’re all excited to finally get our hands on Live A Live in the West, but Japan is getting something extra special with a board game included in the limited version of the HD-2D remake. Preorders for the limited-edition version are now available exclusively via the Square Enix e-Store in Japan.
Japanese special edition
The Live A Live limited edition will cost 22,000 yen ($189.80), which is a little on the pricey side even for Japan, but it comes with a slew of extras that may pique your interest. An assembly-required figurine, an enamel bag, and a two-disc soundtrack with a booklet are among the products available. The official board game, which may be a first for Square Enix as a bonus item, is, nevertheless, the most interesting component from the limited edition.
