Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is gaining new material with its Booster Course Pass DLC, five years after its debut. Rather of creating whole new courses for the Nintendo Switch racer, Nintendo has decided to recreate old ones. Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, and Mario Kart Tour should all be represented at some point.

DLC release dates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass

1st Wave

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will be available in many installments. The first wave will be released on March 18, 2022, according to Nintendo.

The second wave and beyond

Players can expect seven more methods in 2022 and 2023 – precise dates will be announced later, and we’ll update this guide when more information becomes available.

Tracks from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass

Because the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is still in its early stages, we only have details on the first wave. However, keep in mind that each round will have two cups, each with four songs.

Wave 1, Golden Dash Cup

The following tracks will be included in the Golden Dash Cup:

  • Coconut Mall (Wii)

Pricing

The DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will cost $24.99. All of the new content will be available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass members at no additional cost. A single membership costs $49.99 per year, while a family membership costs $79.99.
