Mario Strikers: Battle League – First Kick Demo on June 3rd

Nintendo has planned a “First Kick” trial event for Mario Strikers: Battle League ahead of its official release in a few weeks.

The Nintendo Switch eshop now has a free sample of Mario Strikers: Battle League, which includes access to the game’s tutorial. After that, there will be a “First Kick” demo period during which users will be allowed to play online matches.

First Kick Demo 

Players will be able to play as any of the 10 characters disclosed for launch, and they will be able to engage in Team Battles with friends or strangers using the following setups:

  • Two gamers from two Nintendo Switch consoles join forces to form a single squad.
  • On the same console, two players form a team.

The trial period will begin on June 3rd, with timeslots listed below, albeit participation will need a Switch Online subscription:

  • Europe
    • 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., June 4th and 5th
  • UK
    • 4 a.m. to 5 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., June 4th and 5th
  • North America is located in North America (ET)
    • From 11 p.m. until 12 a.m. on June 3rd
    • On June 4th, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 12 a.m.,
    • 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., June 5th
  • North America is located in North America (PT)
    • From 8 p.m. until 9 p.m. on June 3rd
    • On June 4th, from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.,
    • 5th of June, 4 a.m. to 5 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Japan: June 4th, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Additionally, by just playing the demo, all players with a Switch Online membership will be able to accomplish a special objective for 100 Platinum points.

Bring along a secondary Striker on the same system in online battles, too. Locally, 4 players on each team can go cleat-to-cleat in individual matches. With Strikers Clubs, band together with up to 20 Strikers online and compete against other clubs for points.
