Microsoft’s president – Call of Duty on Nintendo Switch would be interesting

Microsoft is preparing to release a number of significant Activision Blizzard titles to platforms other than the Xbox Series consoles, such as the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, according to recent reports.

COD on Nintendo Switch?

Later, in an interview with CNBC’s Eamon Javers, Microsoft President Brad Smith repeated that this is what the business wants to do and that it makes financial sense. During Mr. Smith’s interview, the subject of Call of Duty came up, and he claimed that they would continue to deliver the game to PlayStation systems, as well as the Nintendo Switch, which has never received a Call of Duty game. If Call of Duty ever makes it to the Nintendo Switch family of aconsoles, the Xbox team or a delegated third-party developer will almost certainly need to create a separate Nintendo Switch-specific version.

Given that Call of Duty is still one of the most popular gaming games, let’s hope they can pull it off for the series’ fans.

One of the things we’re being very clear about as we move forward with the regulatory review of this acquisition is that great titles like Call of Duty from Activision Blizzard today, will continue to be available on the Sony PlayStation. We’d like to bring it to Nintendo devices. We’d like to bring the other popular titles that Activision Blizzard has, and ensure that they continue to be available on PlayStation, [and] that they become available on Nintendo.
