Mojang confirmed the release date for Minecraft’s next big upgrade, The Wild.

The “The Wild” upgrade is set to be released on June 7th, 2022, and will include two new biomes, new materials, and new mobs, including the winner of the 2021 mob voting, The Allay.
- The deep dark and the mangrove swamp are two whole new biomes.
- The Shrieker is the only mob that lives in the darkness.
- Collect sculk blocks and a new sort of timber in the deep dark Mangrove trees.
- The mud block, which may be made from soil and water, is also available in the mangrove swamp.
- Boats may be outfitted with chests.
- The Warden horde will be included.
- When the Frog mob strikes a magma cube, it forms a froglight block.
- There are three kinds of frogs.
- The Frog also has a baby variant, the Tadpole, making it the only mob with two baby versions.
- The Allay horde will be included.
