Another batch of free content for Monster Hunter Rise has been revealed by Capcom. Beginner players will benefit from the free update of Monster Hunter Rise, which includes new armor and weaponry to help them prepare for the forthcoming Sunbreak Expansion. The weapons are from the Defender Weapons set, which has high damage and other beneficial fighting qualities that make hunting early-game monsters simpler. The armor is from the “Black Belt” armor set, which has strong protection and other valuable combat skills.
Both sets were also made available for previous games in the series, where they fulfilled the same purpose.
Defender Weapons and Black Belt Armor
We’ll be releasing a set of “Defender” weapons (for all 14 weapon types), the “Black Belt” armor set, and the “Veteran’s Talisman” to help out players who have just started playing or will be playing Monster Hunter Rise in the future, in preparation for the massive expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which will release in Summer of 2022.
Layered armor will be offered for the “Black Belt” armor set.
The update will be available for the Nintendo Switch and PC versions of Monster Hunter Rise on February 24th.
