The promised demo for the long-awaited Monster Hunter Rise is now available. If you have already downloaded the demo then simply update it to gain access to the new content.
The new demo update will see you take on the mighty Magnamalo, which is quite an accomplishment.

Magnamalo Hunt demo
A total of 5 quests, including a new hunt for Magnamalo!
Start by getting used to the controls via the Basic Training Quest, or dive right into the deep end and go on an actual hunt!
- New Advanced Quest – Slay Magnamalo
- The new Magnamalo quest is an Advanced difficulty quest, tailor-made for the demo.
- You’ll have to fight it with fixed equipment, making it even tougher than normal, so only the confident need apply!
- Beginner Quest – Slay a Great Izuchi
- Perfect for your first hunt. Try out the various weapon types and their unique Wirebug actions!
- Intermediate Quest – Slay a Mizutsune
- Test your skills and learn new techniques against a more dangerous foe!
- Tutorial – Basic Training Quest (Single Player Only)
- Learn how to ride your Palamute and use the Wirebug!
- Tutorial – Wyvern Riding Training Quest (Single Player Only)
- Learn how to use Wyvern Riding, allowing you to control monsters for a while!
Monster Hunter Rise is due out Friday, 26th March exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
