Monster Hunter Rise version 3.8.0 patch notes

Monster Hunter Rise received its most recent update, version 3.8.0, from Capcom. It contains future Event Quests as well as a host of bug patches, so players should download it.

  • Main Changes / Additions
    • Add-on material and other notifications will now appear on the Title Screen and the Courier. Go to Options > Promotion to turn this on or off.
    • A calligraphy font will now be used for certain Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese writing.
    • Every week, new Event Quests will be accessible.
    • Nintendo eShop now has new DLC available.

    • Base/Facility
      • Fixed an issue that caused the Host to appear on the visitor’s screen with a Cohoot on their arm if the Host cancels summoning their Cohoot at the same moment the guest enters the Lobby.
    • Monsters
      • Fixed an issue that prevented a monster’s falling animation from playing all the way through on occasion.
      • Fixed a problem that prevented some attacks, such as Sticky Ammo, from doing damage if they were launched at the same time that the mud crust around Jyuratodus’ neck was shattered.
    • Player/Buddies
      • The 4th color of Type 1 apparel differed between the thumbnail and the real model due to a glitch.
      • When certain hairstyles were combined with particular types of armor, a glitch caused hair to clip through the armor.
      • On the Character Edit page and the add-on content screen, a glitch caused different numbers to be shown for the same haircuts.
      • The rear half of the sideburns of the “Hinoa long” and “Minoto long” haircuts were clipping through the skin due to a bug.
      • When certain armwear and waist armor were combined, a glitch caused clipping in the upper arm of the player character.
      • When choosing “Change Equipment,” an issue that caused the player character and their Buddies to appear on the preview screen at the same time was fixed.
      • If you modify their armor by going through particular processes, Buddies will be presented in their former armor on the save file choice screen.
      • A problem that caused elemental effects on Buddy weapons that didn’t have one has been fixed.
      • When the player gets struck with a restricted assault for the first time, an issue was fixed that prevented the recovery guide from being shown.
      • When utilizing things through the Radial Menu while the player’s weapon is drawn, a bug caused difficulties with crafting item consumption in some scenarios.
      • When the player struck the ground with the Switch Axe in sword mode, it would always conduct a running landing.
      • In sword mode, a glitch was fixed while comboing from a backward dodge to a Forward Slash with the Charge Blade.
    • Miscellaneous
      • The color of the Prism Spiribird appeared erroneously on the map’s icon list due to a glitch.
      • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash on occasion when it took a long time to boot.
      • Fixed an issue that caused the game to stall if you did certain things on the Mutual Likes list that resulted in an empty spot appearing, then selected that empty position.
      • Various text problems were fixed.
      • Other minor problem fixes have been implemented.
