Warner Bros Games and Netherrealm revealed a Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection physical release for Nintendo Switch.
It was implied to be the base game plus a download code for the Aftermath expansion DLC. Various retailers have since updated their listings for the package, however…and it looks like collectors will be getting even less than that.
Code in a Box
According to Best Buy and Amazon, it looks like the game will not even contain a game card in North America at all! A large white banner on the cover artwork now clarifies that the release will be nothing more than a download code within the box.
Well I’m sure the DLC will be cool and all … but this sucks., I really dislike codes in a box.
