Nightwolf DLC footage
Unlike the previous teases which where just still images, Boon’s latest post is a short clip of Nightwolf in motion. The clip looks to be part of a longer trailer for the character, which will hopefully be posted soon.
Nightwolf is a Matoka warrior who, although introduced as a historian and a shaman, does not live in the past. He is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good, and is in contact with Raiden through visions. As such, he draws on both internal and external spiritual energy to enhance his power.
Originally, his tribe was Lakota-Sioux (hence why he refers to Raiden by ‘Haokah’), but this was later retconned in Mortal Kombat 11. He is now a member of a fictional tribe called the Matoka.
