Mortal Kombat 11 – Same features

Netherealm Studios and Shiver Entertainment seem set on delivering a solid port of the eagerly anticipated Mortal Kombat 11 on the Nintendo Switch.

All are equal?

Mortal Kombat 11 on Nintendo Switch will have the same features and content as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

This comes from a preview of the game which was played by USGamer. Here’s what to take away from their time spent playing the Nintendo Switch version of the Mortal Kombat 11 demo:

  • Aiming for 60fps
  • The demo at PAX has some slightly jaggy character outlines during the fight intro scenes, but not during gameplay
  • The extensive customisation options present in the other versions are included
  • Story mode is included as well

But perhaps most important was their note at then end;

I still walked away from the Mortal Kombat 11 Switch demo feeling quite impressed. If development keeps up to the early standard set by NetherRealm and Shiver, the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11 might wind up being nearly indistinguishable from the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions.

I surely hope this will be the case when Mortal Kombat 11 drops on Nintendo Switch on the 23rd of April.
