The company was pleasantly surprised by the success of Nintendo Switch.
Like many other companies Namco Bandai was initially quite skeptical about Nintendo Switch therefore, the developer brought out some older titles for the console to see how it would do.
For all of these games the case is that they are actually doing very good sales-wise and the company has decided to add more manpower to create games for the Nintendo Switch. It is intended that from next April they will bring more games for the console.

President Mitsuaki Taguchi during a meeting let us know that Bandai Namco did not expect the Nintendo game system would be popularimmediately. Taguchi think it is a missed opportunity that his company could not fully benefit from this success with other titles.
We have put out three games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well. It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch [would] be accepted this fast.
