The Crash Bandicoot series is celebrating its’ 25th anniversary and it wouldn’t be a special anniversary without a special announcement right? The Crash Bandicoot Twitter teased that some form of an announcement for the long-running franchise is imminent.

A PlayStation Showcase presentation is taking place after the time of writing so the announcement is likely to be tied into that. Game influencers have also started to receive Crash Bandicoot merchandise which generally comes about when a new game is due to be announced.
What could it be though?
People are saying Smash reveal some are predicting Crash Bash to get a remaster. But we simply do not know at the time of writing. Keep in mind though Crash has gone cross platform so we might see him show up on Nintendo Switch again … in any way shape or form … as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fulled and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about Time are all available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
