Two new outfits are available for Super Mario Odyssey. This time it is a baseball outfit and a ‘Satellaview’ outfit. Earlier, it became known through a datamine that there were more new outfits to come. Now two of these outfits have come online.
Both the ‘Satellaview’ outfit and the baseball outfit consist of two parts. A pants / shirt combination on one side and a helmet on the other.
Baseball outfit
The baseball outfit has a white suit with blue stripes. There are also various blue details on the suit. Think for example of the blue belt and blue stitching seams.
Mario’s “M” is embroidered on the suit. The helmet has Mario’s classic red color. This helmet has extra protection at the ears for swinging balls.
The baseball outfit costs 3000 in-game coins. The helmet also costs another 1500 coins. In total you lost 4500 coins for this complete outfit.
Satellaview historie
The ‘Satellaview’ outfit is based on an accessory from the Nintendo (Super) Famicom. If you had this accessory, you could also receive satellite signals with your game computer.
Various games were sent via that satellite connection, which could then be downloaded onto the system.
The Satellaview never appeared outside of Japan and is not so well known here. The outfit looks pretty futuristic.
This outfit is clearly cheaper than the baseball outfit. The suit costs you 1000 in-game coins and for the helmet you only pay 500 coins.
Both outfits are now available in Super Mario Odyssey.
