At PAX West 2022, 2K and Gearbox showed off a new trailer for New Tales from the Borderlands. The trailer showed some of the characters from the game.

About New Tales from the Borderlands
On the worst day of their lives, players will be in charge of Anu, Octavio, and Fran. Here are some details about each one:
- Fran Miscowicz is a hard-working woman who runs the Frogurt shop her family owns. During the Maliwan invasion, Fran was attacked out of spite. She is now trying to put the pieces back together, but life has other plans for her.
- Octavio Wallace-Dhar: At least in his own mind, Octavio is the most popular person in Meridian City. He wants to be a Somebody. His big break is coming, and then he’ll make a lot of money.
- Dr. Anuradha Dhar is the socially awkward genius who makes a discovery that could change society as a whole. Anu wants to live in a world where killing isn’t necessary to get ahead.
In this story-driven adventure, you have to stand up to ruthless business leaders.
You’ll be in charge of Anu, Octavio, and Fran on the worst day of their lives in the city of Promethea, which is always at war. Help these three lovable losers try to change (and maybe even save) the world! Face off against an invasion from another planet, a vicious vault monster, and a heartless capitalist in this cinematic thrill ride where you decide what happens next!
