What are Nintendo Gold Points?
Nintendo Gold Points are points of value that you collect when you purchase games for Nintendo Switch. Then you can now use these points to buy a title at a reduced price, or even completely free if you have enough points.
Paying your membership with points
It will therefore be possible to use these points to pay a membership on Nintendo Switch Online. However, this does not apply to automatic renewal. That is unfortunate, even though it is well understood for various reasons.
