The Nintendo Switch Online mobile app just got a new update, and users can now access version 2.2.0.
There are a couple of new things here. First, you can now send friend requests with a friend code, but they can only be accepted on Switch. You can also copy your friend code as a URL or save it as a QR code, thanks to new features.

Over time, Nintendo has slowly added more features to the Switch Online app. This year, a feature came out that lets you see which of your friends are online. We have also seen other things, like a “Dark Mode.”
