Nintendo recently published a new update for the N64 app in the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. The update brings the app up to Version 2.3.1 and fixes a game-breaking problem identified in Kirby 64 that stunlocked Kirby if he received damage in water levels.
Oatmealdome, a dataminer, has also revealed some technical facts regarding where the flaw might have originated based on what Nintendo changed:

The bug may have originated in N’s AOT recompiler for MIPS -> aarch64, since the only files updated were the AOT .nro and .pcb.
Interestingly, switchbrew says the NRO isn’t used, but those were the only files changed (not even the emulator main executable).
