Nintendo recently announced a new Expansion Pack for the Nintendo Switch Online service which will give subscribers access to N64 games and Sega Genesis games on top of the NES and SNES games.
With the reveal of the Expansion Pack, some may be concerned that Nintendo might stop adding new games to the NES and SNES libraries in favor of focusing on the N64 and Genesis ones.
More NES / SNES coming
But it does appears that subscribers will not have to worry about that.
According to Axios writer Stephen Totilo, Nintendo confirmed that more NES and SNES games will still be added to Switch Online, and will not require moving to the higher priced tier.
Nintendo tells me that there will still be more NES and SNES games added for people who don’t upgrade to the new tier of Nintendo Switch Online.
