‘Nintendo Switch 2nd Set’ comes with colors of choice and without a dock.
Nintendo has let it be known in Japan with a second Nintendo Switch set. It simply means that you get a less filled box at a lower price. With this Nintendo has mainly aimed at consumers who want a second Nintendo Switch system in their household.
What does this set contain exactly?
Three things: the Nintendo Switch system, a set of Joy-Con and a set of Joy-Con straps. Compared to the standard set you miss the dock, the AC adapter, HDMI cable and the Joy-Con grip controller.
In terms of price, the difference is about € 40, – (the original set costs including VAT Â¥ 32,378 and the new set is available for Â¥ 26,978).
The official Japanese Nintendo Store now also allows fans to customize the Nintendo Switch to their own preference. You can choose for both Joy-Con which color they are and the same goes for the Joy-Con straps.
Plans for the West
For the time being, no mention has been made of the possibility of bringing this package, customizing or both to the West.
