Japanese consumers have been buying up Nintendo Switch consoles due to Chinese production fears due to the coronavirus.
Out of stock
The hybrid console sold out recently on the official My Nintendo Store where hardware was widely available. Note that it’s only the Nintendo Switch system and not the Switch Lite, which is still limitedly available at the time of writing.
If this does keep going this way Japanese people might have to start looking into importing. Or Nintendo will have to look into getting stock in these regions.
For both EU and US there is still plenty of stock available.
