Nintendo Switch’s firmware 14.1.2 is a rebootless update

Nintendo Switch’s firmware 14.1.2 is a rebootless update

When Nintendo publishes a firmware update for the Nintendo Switch, the version number changes and, at the very least, a handful of modifications are applied. The console must reboot in order for these upgrades to complete.

New instant stability?

This is an uncommon occurrence. Nintendo has chosen to issue a firmware update for the Nintendo Switch, although it is a minor one. Because it is so minor, not only is the version number remain 14.1.2, but the console does not need to reboot to complete the update. There are no official patch notes for this “rebootless” update due to its nature.

However, it has been revealed that Nintendo has added to the list of forbidden terms.
