Nintendo has updated the sales numbers for its best-selling Nintendo Switch games up until September 2022.
And it looks like Animal Crossing: New Horizons is catching up to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which was previously unstoppable. At 48.41 million units sold, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still the best-selling Nintendo Switch game, and Animal Crossing: New Horizon has sold 40.17 million units around the world. By a wide margin, these two games are the most popular ones on Nintendo’s current platform. Nintendo also said that 7.9 million copies of Splatoon 3 have been sold and that Kirby and the Forgotten Land has sold 5.27 million copies, making it the best-selling Kirby game of all time.
