HAL, the developers of Kirby Star Allies, have published an update on their website. The update is concerning the development of Kirby Star Allies.
Kirby Star Allies Wave 3 DLC was recently released as a free update to all owners of the game.

HAL did however confirm that they will no longer make anymore Dream Friends in future updates after the Wave 3 DLC. Development in that regard has already been completed, according to the studio.
If this means that there will be no further updates for Kirby Star Allies is unclear at the moment.
