We recently let you know that there is a physical edition coming for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Developer Lizard Cube has now released via Twitter that this will also certainly apply to Europe.
Intentions are that you can find the game in stores in the first quarter of 2018. Whether this version will be more expensive than the digital version is not yet known. In addition, also not known yet is if extra goodies will be included, as this is often the case with a Nicalis release

To doubledip or not
NintendoReporters has already digitally purchased Wonder Boy in the past but we are and remain collectors (to a certain extent). If there is anything which makes it interesting for us to buy the game again physically we will surely do this.
