Playtonic recently celebrated the first anniversary of their first game, Yooka-Laylee.
The spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie was released last year for different systems, but it took until the end of 2017 before Yooka-Laylee made the switch to the Nintendo Switch.
Mixed emotions
It was not completely successful. The sky-high expectations for this game were not met and sometimes it all felt somewhat dated. Nevertheless, Yooka-Layleee has managed to capture hearts from many gamers.
It is precisely that group of gamers that Yooka-Laylee warmly welcome will be happy to hear that more content is on the way. What is still a surprise.
Playtonic has announced that it will share more information about new content and “other things” in the near future. What all that involves is still unknown.
