A Guatemalan retailer earlier seemingly leaked a Prince of Persia Remake was heading to the Nintendo Switch.
Prepare for confusion
During Ubisoft Forward presentation, the publisher officially announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake for PC, PS4, and Xbox One – with a release in January 2021.
In the end, it looked like there would be no Nintendo Switch version planned at all.Or so it seems.
Strangely enough, the game’s official website and even Ubisoft’s French Twitter account briefly mentioned that the game would also launch on Nintendo Switch alongside these other platforms.
These mentions of the Nintendo Switch release were promptly removed from the site and Twitter – so it looks like this could have been a big mistake on Ubisoft’s part.
So we are unsure
Perhaps a Nintendo Switch version was once planned and was scrapped entirely, or Ubisoft still has plans for a Nintendo Switch version but revealed them too early.
In any case, we’ll keep a look out for more updates on this in the future.
