Taito has revealed that their newest installment in the tile-matching puzzle series, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble, would include a new gameplay mode based on the timeless arcade game Space Invaders. In this mode, which also supports cooperative play for up to four players, players will shoot bubbles upwards to clear the screen of invaders while dodging their assaults.
Celebrate Space Invaders
We are excited to announce a new game that will include a crossover between the classic video games Space Invaders and Puzzle Bobble in honor of the 45th birthday of Space Invaders.
In this mode, players attempt to eradicate the bubble-encased invaders by fusing together three or more bubbles of the same hue in an effort to form larger bubbles.
Because bubbles may only be shot in an upward direction, players must maneuver their characters left and right in order to target and destroy the enemies that are approaching while simultaneously avoiding their assaults.
Cooperative gaming is available for up to four people.
In the spring of 2023, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble will be available for purchase on Nintendo Switch.
