NIS America has now confirmed that it will release the English version of R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos in the west.
In line with Japanese practice, it will debut in the summer of 2023.

You must outwit and outmaneuver the Bydo as they continue to eradicate mankind if the Space Corps is to succeed. Until you start fighting with the troops you were supposed to be killing, that is.
The side-scrolling, shoot ’em up action that the franchise is renowned for is combined with tactical, turn-based strategy gameplay in R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos to create a really unique R-Type experience! This two-game bundle, which was recreated in Unreal Engine 5, is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. R-Type Tactics II also makes its western appearance for the first time. Play as both the Space Corps and the Bydo while deploying your soldiers across many campaigns. To find out who the best strategist is, you may also focus on competitive online play. R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos is jam-packed with incredible material, including hundreds of ships and stages to pick from across both games, branching missions, and a brand-new third campaign (all unique to R-Type Tactics II)!
