For some time it has been possible to purchase classic NEO GEO titles in the Nintendo Switch eShop. Now it’s time for Real Bout Fatal Fury Special to make a comeback!
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
This is the ‘Special’ edition of Real Bout Fatal Fury, which appeared in 1995 for the NEO GEO. Later, this game was re-released via, among other things, the Wii Shop Channel.
The ‘Special’ version will contain the original set of fighters, with a number of additions, including the much-loved Tung Fu Rue, but also Cheng Sinzan, Laurence Blood and the final boss Wolfgang Krauser.
Some hidden characters are so-called ‘EX’ versions of, among others, Billy Kane, Blue Mary and Tung Fu Rae. These characters have new special attacks. Also character Andy will get a bonus character named Shadow Andy. Nightmare Geese, who was defeated in the first game, also returns in the form of a so-called ‘Nightmare battle’.
Outside a lot of retro so also the necessary new enhancements, we like!
