WayForward is beginning to showcase some of the River City Girls 2 characters, and a new teaser has surfaced that features Marian.
About Marian
One of the characters who may be controlled in the game is Marian. She has “brutal boxing moves, hard-hitting grapples, and abs of steel.” Marian, who will now collaborate with Misako and Kyoko, is really a descendant of the Double Dragon series.
About River City Girls 2
For round two, the River City Girls are prepared! Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki go on a brand-new beat-’em-up adventure when an old enemy reappears seeking vengeance, joined by newcomers Marian and Provie. This beat-’em-up adventure is filled with new powers, foes, friends, places, and more. Join forces for local or online co-op, then use all-new guard-crush strikes, lift-off combinations, elemental status effects, and other knuckle-busting moves to smash punks into the ground! Level up to unlock new moves, purchase goods in more than 40 stores, and employ vanquished enemies and hired heavies to assist you on your journey. River City has expanded to include additional rooms to explore, more things to damage, and a cycle of day and night. River City Girls 2 will have you fighting until all of your foes cry “BARF!” thanks to its nonlinear gameplay, character-specific VO, and dramatic music by Megan McDuffee.
