Rocket League Tournament update available

If you want to start Rocket League from the Nintendo Switch you will probably be asked to install an update. By installing this update you go to version 1.0.5 of Rocket League. That it would be a big update was already known.

Now that the update is actually out, we can view the complete list of changes. The most important points were all mentioned earlier.

Tournament update

The biggest change is the tournament update. Players can now participate in tournaments or organize one themselves. This innovation is for all Rocket League players. There are also a number of changes specifically for Nintendo Switch owners.

So from now on you can use the video recording of the Nintendo Switch to share that one fat goal with friends. There is also an option to choose between 1080p 30fps (graphic quality first) or 720p 60fps (smooth play first).

Smaller adjustments

In addition to these major innovations, there is also a substantial list of smaller innovations. Read some of these smaller changes below:

  • New flags: Brunei, Monaco, Nauru & Tuvalu
  • New cases: Triumph crate
  • Monstercat: There is now a second playlist with Monstercat numbers. There will also be new flags belonging to Monstercat.
  • You can now also listen to music during a game.
  • From now on you will see if you are experiencing connection problems during your game
  • Players can now be banned from the chat.
  • There are multiple colors available for your car.
  • The public will respond more to certain opportunities.
  • Furthermore, a lot of bugs have been solved.
