Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos has received a new update for the Nintendo Switch, with players now able to access version 4.0. It fixes many problems and contains desired gameplay tweaks (such as the game no longer pausing for other players when another goes into the inventory).

The following are the complete patch notes for the Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos version 4.0 update:
- Changes Based on User Feedback
- When another player enters the inventory, the game will no longer halt for the other players.
- Fixed a bug in which a subterranean room could not be emptied.
- The problem where other players might manipulate the druid’s powers has been resolved.
- An improvement for the Bomber has been introduced called ‘Bomb Proof,’ which grants them 20% resilience to all bomb damage every level. When the bomber reaches level 5, he will no longer suffer damage from explosives.
- Sakanamon can now swim longer and faster, as well as sprint quicker in the water.
- The druid’s snake form will now poison more quickly.
- The Auto Aim functionality has been improved to target the nearest adversary to the player, and Non-locked on aim now works more like a bow. The player will use the keyboard and mouse to face the mouse pointer and fire the spell in that direction. The player will discharge the projectile along the movement vector using the controller.
- A fix was implemented to prevent the player from dying after losing the snake minigame.

- The fish fountain in the Slalen Ruins now has a better texture.
- Tytu texture problems have been resolved.
- The’recreational fishing’ achievement no longer unlocked at the wrong time.
- The map now includes town icons.
- After a health boost at Intori’s Clinic, the UI did not show properly.
- When two players attempt to develop anything at the same time, the game becomes out of rhythm.
- A remedy for an issue in which gold chess did not always unlock.
- A workaround for the Skull Rock Orb while playing online.
