SEGA Ages future possibly contains Saturn and Dreamcast games

Gamers can relive former titles from SEGA through SEGA Ages. You can think of Sonic The Hedgehog, Thunder Force and Phantasy Star for the Mega Drive.

In the meantime, SEGA has revealed more information about SEGA Ages which shows that it may not be limited to 16-bit classics. For example, it has been indicated that Saturn and Dreamcast games may also be added to the service in the future if the first 15 titles do well.

It has also become clear that Rieko Kodama will be the producer of SEGA Ages. He has worked at SEGA since 1984. SEGA Ages is coming to Japan this summer. When we can get started with it in Europe, we still have to announce it.

Dreamcast … now we are talking about something!

Please bare with us we love SEGA but after the original announcement of the SEGA Megadrive Mini we were not very thrilled. Simply because it would be rather limited in terms of games. The Sega Dreamcast in itself ramps up a  lot of games that we would like to play on the Nintendo Switch. To mention just a few; Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Marvel vs. Capcom, Shenmue 1 & 2, Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, Virtua Tennis, Dead or Alive 2, House or The Dead 2, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing … in short a lot.

If SEGA can deliver on that … then count us in as a customer!
