The upcoming Sonic title was unveiled in March of this year and is scheduled to be released on November 7th. The game has various modes including a Modern Sonic and a Classic Sonic mode. The game is being developed by the same team behind Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations and uses a new engine that has to make the game progress on a graphical level.

Sonic 2D games are always a given, just look at the recent success of Sonic Mania on the Nintendo Switch. 3D Sonic games is totally different story, nobody wants to think about titles like Sonic Unleashed, Sonic & the Black Knight and the like because they unfortunately did not know how to capture the true magic of Sonic.
