The company PowerA is creating a new range of GameCube-inspired controllers for the Nintendo Switch which are officially licensed.
On Reddit the user Mew_The_Creator (https://www.reddit.com/user/Mew_The_Creator) has already given a taste. At the company where he works, they have already received the boxes from the series of new controllers from Nintendo.

Although this is only the packaging and therefore there is no product yet, it has been confirmed that these new controllers will soon be in stores. There is no exact release date yet, but we will keep you informed.
But what does this mean, Gamecube games in the Nintendo Switch Online service … or is it only meant for Smash Bros.? We hope the first but have not heard anything about it in any concrete form.
In addition, we had actually found a Gamecube slide on joy-con set rather cool … but who knows if that will ever happen.
