Splatoon 2 version 5.2.2 update

Splatoon 2 version 5.2.2 update

Nintendo released a brand new update for Splatoon 2, bringing the game to version 5.2.2.

People have discovered that the update fixes an exploit for the Booyah Bomb that enables you to reach some areas not intended. A similar fix has been made for the Starfish Mainstage area.

But what do the official patch notes tell us;

Official Patch Notes Ver. 5.2.2 (Released June 30, 2020)

  • Changes to Multiplayer
    •  Made it so players are unable to dive into ink on a wall and move along an unintended path in the time between using a Booyah Bomb and returning to the ground.
    • Fixed an issue in Starfish Mainstage in which players could invade the opposing team’s base if they jumped at the right time on top of a certain part of chain-link fencing.

So the findings of people seem to have been fully inline with the changelog.

Are you still enjoying Splatoon 2 … or do you hope Nintendo is already working on Splatoon 3?
