Square Enix employees have interests in Nintendo Switch

According to Square Enix CEO, Yosuke Matsuda, many people in the company are eager to develop games for the Nintendo Switch.

This appears from an interview from the most recent EDGE.

He answered a question from the magazine about how the games of the Japanese company have done so far. Matsuda also mentioned that the platform has not been on the market for long, but that their games have “certainly not done badly!”

The CEO noted to EDGE

Our games have certainly not done badly! Of course, the device did not come out until last March, so it’s not that long ago, but we’ve released quite a lot for the Nintendo Switch when we look at all publishers working on it. It is therefore an attractive platform – there are a lot of employees within the organization who want to make games for the Nintendo Switch.

Whether this statement leads to more games of the RPG giant, remains to be seen.

However, there have been persistent rumors about a possible version of the Secret of Mana remake and even a successor to the Nintendo Switch. So fingers crossed!
