Nowadays many games get downloadable content: sometimes on day one, sometimes shortly after the launch, paid or simply free. We know a lot of forms when it comes to DLC.
Octopath Traveler DLC
Octopath Traveler does not seem to be such a game, according to Square Enix than at least at this moment. During an interview with Dengeki Online, producer Masashi Takahashi says that “the game is already complete enough as it is”, and therefore does not need a DLC.
Of course, the unexpected success of Octopath Traveler could change that. Or are you, like Square Enix, of the opinion that Octopath Traveler is so big and good enough?
We dare not say it honestly because we have not been able to spend much time in Octopath Traveler, but maybe that is not the case for you, so what do you think?
