Super Mario Odyssey recognises more amiibos

Super Mario Odyssey received a big update this month bringing the entertaining Balloon World multiplayer game.

That’s not all though as the latest update has revealed that the game now supports more amiibos, specifically those which launched after Super Mario Odyssey launched in October 2017.

So what is new?

The game can now work with amiibo such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions amiibos;  Revali, Urbosa, Mipha, and Daruk.

But before you get your hopes up in regard to new functionality … well that is simply not the case. These newly supported amiibo help reveal Power Moons you haven’t yet found just like most other amiibo already did. Still it is nice to see that Nintendo added support for them, but couldn’t they have done a more general if Amiibo is not equal to the special ones … then do something general.
