Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch will appear next month. Recently it has become clear that Super Mario Party will only be playable with the Joy-Con controllers, the pro-controller will not be supported.
Why no Pro controller?
That’s what the Spanish website Nextn.es said ( https://www.nextn.es/2018/08/super-mario-party-solo-joy-con-gameplay/ ). The decision for this will probably have to do with the type of game that Super Mario Party is. It is often more practical to play with the joy-cons than with the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
Super Mario Party will appear on October 5th. In November, a special bundle will be released with 2 Joy-Con included. The Super Mario Party bundle will be on sale from November 23rd.
