Nintendo announced a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update which is to be released soon.
No concrete release window has been given at this time, except that it’ll be “in the near future”. As for te update’s contents, Nintendo does say that it will “include fighter adjustments”, but that’s all they confirmed for now.

The success of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018. Since then, as of September 2020, the game managed to sell over 21 million copies, making it the best-selling fighting game of all time.
