In late 2017 Sonic Forces was released for various consoles, including the Nintendo Switch.
Although the game was received with mixed emotions SEGA has released a weird DLC situation. You (had to) pay to activate Super Sonic. But luckily that iss going to change!

Indeed, it is probably already changed Nintendo Switch eShop, where you can get the free DLC. The beauty of it is that this will be the case forever. To what extent this will apply also for future DLC packs is unknown.
It was obviously a huge strange step to put Super Sonic behind a paywall. Seriously SEGA? But perhaps that already indicates how “good” this title is. We have purchased the game due to nostalgia with the iconic blue hedgehog … but we would really NOT recommend this title to anyone.
Sonic Mania … well that we 100% would!
